When they oversee the design and installation of your solar energy system, they are tapping into 40 years of experience in specialized mechanical and electrical systems design, product development, and professional services at Massachusetts-based technology companies. Between the two of them, they have led the start-up of several successful businesses in the fields of automation engineering, technology, construction, and solar energy.

Mike brings 25 years of experience in all aspects of mechanical engineering, construction, and renewable energy systems design to the table. Mike uses his engineering talents to assure that only the highest quality components are used in our systems. He is also an expert at utilizing a variety of computer software packages for modeling and optimizing the system design to assure the highest output (and the most energy savings in your pocket). Mike had been instrumental in developing innovative systems using BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics). He works closely with all of our solar component manufacturers to be sure we can provide you with a wide range of high-efficiency systems and options. Previously, Mike worked in engineering at companies like Eastman Kodak Co., Foster-Wheeler Energy Corp., DT Industries, and Boston University. Later, Mike co-founded a successful engineering firm focused on industrial automation. He has advanced training and hands-on experience in solar electric and solar thermal systems design and installation, taught by IREQ-certified instructors at Alternative Energy University, and has completed a graduate level engineering course on solar thermal system design and analysis. Construction experience includes building energy efficient super-insulated homes.
